How are all the Kevin fans doing? =)

So, considering nothing new has been happening aside from Kevin appearing as none other then our favorite bad boy, Keamy, on "LOST" there has been nothing to really update you all on. While this is still a one man show, literally, considering only one person is updating this blog, I still am attempting to keep you updated on all Kevin related news.

Set your DVRs! "3:10 to Yuma" is set to play THIS evening at 7:30PM Central Time, starring Kevin as "Tucker" on USA Network. Also, Thursday, April 22nd the episode of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation called "Still Life" guest starring our boy airs on SPIKEtv at 10:00AM, "Walking Tall" starring The Rock, will air on TNT Network Friday, April 23rd at 9:00PM and last but not least, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" will air on the movie network, MAX, Saturday, April 24th at 9:40AM starring Hugh Jackman and Liev Schrieber.

Long Time. No Blog.

Oh dear! It seems us, the management, have forgotten to update this wonderful blog in quite sometime. We feel bad for it. Really. A lot of things have happened over the past year!

Kevin got engaged. (Congrats to him and the very lucky lady!)

Currently, Kevin is starring in "Legion," as the arch angel Gabriel, which is in theaters now. So, go see you some Kevin with wings. =) For more info and showtimes, visit the "Legion" Fandago Page!

Kevin is also currently filming the new "Robin Hood" starring Russell Crowe as the title character and Kevin himself is playing the perfect role, Little John. "Robin Hood is slated for release May 14, 2010. For more information, visit the "Robin Hood" IMDB page!

He is also (still) rumored to be in "Hectic" as in the role of Eddie Panko. IMDB summary says:

And last, but not least, "Otis E." We've had some questions regarding the film and it's ultimate release, but sadly there has been no change. We will update as soon as we have more for you!

Now, on a side note, to those of you who haven't noticed yet, Mr. Durand has deleted his Facebook page. One of the more "loving" fans decided to say something on his page about Kevin's being engaged. We, here at the Kevin Durand, The Ultimate Blog!, do not condone this type of behavior. Mr. Durand was kind enough to allow us to speak with him and leave him messages of encouragement onto his page, and occasionally he would write something back. Thanks to those few bad seeds, none of us have contact with Mr. Durand any longer. Thus, we now have to resort to checking his personal IMDB Page. If any negative comments are made about Mr. Durand or any of his family and loved ones, we will not hesitate to report you and ban you from posting on our blogs.

Okay, I suppose we'll start with the apologies, lol. Sorry for the lack of updates, everyone has been relatively busy. Can't really tell you specifically what's been going down, but I promise it was a bit important.

WOLVERINE:
The trailer has finally been released and in my personal opinion it's down right amazing. A lot of us agree that we can't wait to see it, whether you're a X-Men fan or not. :)

Note From Management:
The old site is currently in hiatus, possibly permanently, if you want more pictures and things go there though you won't be able to save them. The reason this blog was created is so that you Kevin fans can come and get updates on his rolls in movies and on television. We will attempt to update this site as frequently as possible.

About Kevin:

Kevin Serge Durand was born on January 14th, 1974 in Thunder Bay, Ontario (Canada). He turned towards acting at the age of 15, thanks to his girlfriend at the time. Following lessons at a performing arts school, he got several roles in various musicals before being contacted for a roll in the movie "Mystery, Alaska", to play "Tree" Lane, opposite Burt Reynolds and Russell Crowe in 1999.

When not shooting on set Kevin likes reading and writing (he's actually writing a movie script.) He also enjoys ice hockey, jogging and yoga. He has Irish and French Canadian origins, and is fluent in French. He is a lover of scifi movies and TV shows. He also loves motorcycles, go ahead and ask him sometime!

He is a rapper singer and hip-hop dancer. He's also a fan of Terre-Neuvian celtic folk band, the Great Big Sea.

Recently, he has gotten a second tattoo. His first one is between his shoulders blades, and he's just had a second one, on his right shoulder. They represents Native American symbols, for "perseverance, following your instinct, chasing your vision quest, not ever giving up on your dreams and remembering where you came from" and "Strength, happiness, and fighting for something you believe in."

Kevin created his first rap band when he was 12 or 13, "The Cottons". Kevin particularly excels in rap, and points out in the musical "Spirit of a Nation", but also in a crooner style, as baritone (he sang in the musicals "Kiss Me Kate" and "The Adventure of Tom Sawyer" ).
In 1999, during the shooting of "Mystery, Alaska," the friendship between Kevin and Russell Crowe grew to a point where Mr. Crowe had Kevin participate on one of his 30 Odd Foot of Grunts albums (Russell's rock band), "Gaslight" rapping in the song "Nowhere". Kevin also participated in the tour.
