About Kevin Durand
Note From Management:
The old site is currently in hiatus, possibly permanently, if you want more pictures and things go there though you won't be able to save them. The reason this blog was created is so that you Kevin fans can come and get updates on his rolls in movies and on television. We will attempt to update this site as frequently as possible.
Rules:
1. If you leave a comment, don't slander Kevin or any of his fans. It's rude.
2. No hotlinking the pictures on here, it's not only annoying but it also uses our bandwidth.
Yes, we are also in contact with Kevin.
Love and peace,
The Management
About Kevin:
Kevin Serge Durand was born on January 14th, 1974 in Thunder Bay, Ontario (Canada). He turned towards acting at the age of 15, thanks to his girlfriend at the time. Following lessons at a performing arts school, he got several roles in various musicals before being contacted for a roll in the movie "Mystery, Alaska", to play "Tree" Lane, opposite Burt Reynolds and Russell Crowe in 1999.
When not shooting on set Kevin likes reading and writing (he's actually writing a movie script.) He also enjoys ice hockey, jogging and yoga. He has Irish and French Canadian origins, and is fluent in French. He is a lover of scifi movies and TV shows. He also loves motorcycles, go ahead and ask him sometime!
He is a rapper singer and hip-hop dancer. He's also a fan of Terre-Neuvian celtic folk band, the Great Big Sea.
Recently, he has gotten a second tattoo. His first one is between his shoulders blades, and he's just had a second one, on his right shoulder. They represents Native American symbols, for "perseverance, following your instinct, chasing your vision quest, not ever giving up on your dreams and remembering where you came from" and "Strength, happiness, and fighting for something you believe in."
(Quotes in RED and ITALICS come straight from Kevin!)
About music, he's falling in love with a West Canadian pop band: The Blue Alarm. I'm inviting you to listen to them on their official website!

In 1999, during the shooting of "Mystery, Alaska," the friendship between Kevin and Russell Crowe grew to a point where Mr. Crowe had Kevin participate on one of his 30 Odd Foot of Grunts albums (Russell's rock band), "Gaslight" rapping in the song "Nowhere". Kevin also participated in the tour.

Oh, wait. I might have found where I wanted to be. Let's see....
If so, this should be fun!
I've been a fan of Kevin's work and himself (I'm a woman and I just can't help myself) for a few months only, but he's already the reason I will watch a movie if he's in it.
Can't wait to see Legion and Otis E.!
I just wanted to let the management know that they spelled "role" wrong. They spelled it "roll" as in a dinner roll, it should be "role" as in a part played by an actor.
Lara-
Thanks for the heads up! Sometimes I get in such a hurry that I forget what I'm doing, lol.
